Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Zilocar. We design our vehicle history reports to support your car-buying journey, but please note that reliance on any report is at your own risk.
1. Scope of Policy
For Monthly Subscription ($28.99/month) and Quarterly Subscription ($54.45 per quarter) plans: once your billing period begins, the charge is non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances described below.
For Single Report purchases ($33.99 one-time): refunds are only considered in defined exceptional cases (see section 3).
2. When a Refund May Be Issued
Your case meets one of the following valid reasons:
- Duplicate charge for the exact same VIN lookup.
- Report failed to generate and was blank due to technical error (verified by our system).
3. When Refunds Are Not Issued
Refunds will not be given for:
- "Clean" reports showing no issues or accidents.
- Missing or incomplete data outside our control (e.g., accident data not reported in certain states).
- Subscription cancellation after the billing period begins.
- Exceeding the fair-use threshold (50 VINs/month for monthly plan, 150/quarter for quarterly plan).
- Incorrect VIN entered by the purchaser.
How to Cancel or Manage Subscription / Trial
You can cancel your trial or subscription through your dashboard → Billing or by contacting customer support.
Refund Process & Timing
If you find your refund reason to be valid, please fill out the form below with the necessary details or email the following information to [email protected]:
- Email Subject: Refund request - VIN: (your VIN number)
- Your e-mail
- Vehicle VIN number
- Reason for the refund
- Your Name
- Your Surname
- Date of purchase
- Method of payment
- Your PayPal transaction ID or last 4 digits of your credit or debit car
