Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Zilocar. We design our vehicle history reports to support your car-buying journey, but please note that reliance on any report is at your own risk.

1. Scope of Policy

For Monthly Subscription ($28.99/month) and Quarterly Subscription ($54.45 per quarter) plans: once your billing period begins, the charge is non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances described below.

For Single Report purchases ($33.99 one-time): refunds are only considered in defined exceptional cases (see section 3).

2. When a Refund May Be Issued

Your case meets one of the following valid reasons:

  • Duplicate charge for the exact same VIN lookup.
  • Report failed to generate and was blank due to technical error (verified by our system).

3. When Refunds Are Not Issued

Refunds will not be given for:

  • "Clean" reports showing no issues or accidents.
  • Missing or incomplete data outside our control (e.g., accident data not reported in certain states).
  • Subscription cancellation after the billing period begins.
  • Exceeding the fair-use threshold (50 VINs/month for monthly plan, 150/quarter for quarterly plan).
  • Incorrect VIN entered by the purchaser.

How to Cancel or Manage Subscription / Trial

You can cancel your trial or subscription through your dashboard → Billing or by contacting customer support.
