Zilocar Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions
Account: The user profile automatically created when you purchase a Single Report or a Subscription plan.
Dashboard: The secure area connected to your Account where you can view purchased reports, manage billing, and cancel subscriptions.
Subscription: The recurring service that provides access to vehicle history reports under Zilocar's fair-use policy.
Fair-Use Limit:
- 50 reports per month for the Monthly Plan.
- 150 reports per quarter for the Quarterly Plan.
These limits apply to personal, non-commercial use only.
2. Account Creation & Access
When you purchase a Single Report or subscribe to any plan, an Account is automatically created for you.
Upon purchase, you will be logged into your Dashboard, where you can view all purchased reports, manage your subscription and billing, and cancel when desired.
3. Subscription Terms
Available Plans
- Monthly Plan: $28.99 per month — includes 50 reports/month.
- Quarterly Plan: $54.45 per quarter (≈ $18.15/month) — includes 150 reports/quarter.
- Single Report: $33.99 one-time purchase for one VIN lookup.
Billing & Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date via your Dashboard or by contacting support.
Charges are non-refundable once the billing period begins.
4. Fair-Use Policy
Each subscription is intended for personal vehicle research and comparison during your car-buying journey.
Usage limits are:
- 50 reports/month for Monthly subscribers
- 150 reports/quarter for Quarterly subscribers
Accounts exceeding these thresholds or showing commercial, bulk, or automated usage may be reviewed, limited, or upgraded to a commercial plan at Zilocar's discretion.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription anytime through your Dashboard → Billing.
To avoid renewal, cancellation must occur before the next billing date.
Once a new billing period begins, the charge is non-refundable (see Section 6).
6. Refunds
- Refunds are only considered in limited cases, such as:
- Duplicate charges for the same transaction.
- Technical error resulting in a blank or inaccessible report (verified by Zilocar).
Refunds will not be granted for:
- Clean reports or lack of expected findings.
- Missing or incomplete data from external sources (for example, some states do not report accidents).
- Failure to cancel before renewal.
- Dissatisfaction with the amount of data provided.

7. Data Accuracy, Disclaimers & Sources
Zilocar reports are provided for informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee that all data is accurate, complete, or up to date.
Data sources include:
- National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS)
- State DMVs and title agencies
- Salvage, auction, and insurance records
- Proprietary and third-party data aggregators
Accident and incident data is available for vehicles registered in up to 38 U.S. states, based on the best available public records. Absence of a record does not guarantee that no incident occurred.
Disclaimer of Warranties: Services are provided "AS IS," without any express or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zilocar's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Zilocar within the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data.
Usage is subject to the fair-use limits defined in Section 4.
9. Intellectual Property & Use of Reports
All content, trademarks, and materials on the Zilocar website are owned or licensed by Zilocar.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use vehicle reports for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Reproduction, resale, or misuse of reports is strictly prohibited.
10. Modifications to Terms, Services & Pricing
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services (including features, availability, or pricing) at any time.
If changes materially affect pricing, usage limits, or subscription terms, we will post an updated version of these Terms and indicate the new effective date.
Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.
These Terms, together with all incorporated policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zilocar.
